Structure-flex has been nominated for a prestigious industry award in the Wide Format And Super Wide Format category of the Digital Print, Design & Marketing Awards 2017.

It has been nominated for its work on a range of lorry curtains for leading sustainable staircase manufacturer, Pear Stairs, which carried a number of individual surreal designs with a massive pear-shaped twist to a host of famous paintings.

Paul Reeve, Managing Director at Structure-flex, commented: “Nomination for such a prestigious award is a tremendous accolade and being judged against the best in the industry is fantastic recognition for our large format printing capabilities.

“We pride ourselves on the quality of both our products and service and we have a history of constant progression with cutting-edge technology. Our Graphic Division has invested in the latest large format printing presses used to produce the curtains for Pear Stairs and it is wonderful that our innovation is being rewarded in this way.”

The annual awards, run by Whitmar Publications, honour the work that print companies do for their customers and acknowledge those that embrace quality and creativity in the sector in 14 different categories.

Structure-flex is shortlisted in the category alongside four other specialist printers and will discover whether they have won the award during a prestigious event aboard the Silver Sturgeon, on the River Thames, London, on 29th June.

“Structure-flex has a long-established reputation in the manufacture of trailer curtainsiders and vehicle graphics,” continued Paul. “Although our capabilities extend to large format printing for any use being nominated for our work with Pear Stairs is testament to expertise in this sector.”

Structure-flex is not new to award nominations and was shortlisted in the Digital Printer Awards in 2015 and won a Queen’s Award for International Enterprise in 2014 for increasing its export sales by more than 250pc over the previous three years.
