Structure-flex invest in new apprenticeship role
Leading manufacturer of flexible thermoplastic products, Structure-flex, are hiring for a Business Administrator Apprentice as part of their ongoing commitment to support their local community and secure the future of British manufacturing.
The North-Norfolk based manufacturer hopes the role will help develop the next generation of skilled business professionals by offering hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
“Supporting young people and helping them develop critical life and business skills is something we’re passionate about - and we’re delighted to offer this opportunity to help kick-start a young person’s career in business administration. This role is a great first step for someone looking to build a strong foundation for their future in British manufacturing” says Paul Reeve, Managing Director of Structure-flex.
As part of the apprenticeship, the successful applicant will support Structure-flex’s sales, accounts and purchasing operations and provide a professional ‘front of house’ image for the business.
Responsibilities for the role include answering calls, greeting visitors, managing boardroom bookings and performing key administrative tasks like order processing and handling mail.
This position offers the chance for a young person to build valuable skills in business administration and customer service, while becoming a trusted point of contact for clients and suppliers.
“Our Business Administrator Apprentice role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop in a fast-paced, professional manufacturing environment. We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our team and play an important role in supporting our colleagues, customers and future” says Paul.
The successful applicant will not only gain valuable work experience and life skills, but will also receive a Level 3 Business Administrator Diploma and potential full-time employment.
Established in 1970, just one year after the flexible lorry tension curtain was first invented, Structure-flex is now the UK’s leading supplier of lorry tension curtains.
As specialists in high-frequency welding of flexible thermoplastics, Structure-flex also manufacture a wide range of products including crane test bags, bulk packaging bags and the fast flood defence system, Mobildeich.
“Since British manufacturing is highly regarded around the world, it’s vital that we pass it on to capable hands to continue its legacy of quality and excellence. By sharing decades of our knowledge and expertise, we hope we’re helping secure the future of our industry” concludes Paul.
Applications for the role will close on the 28th February 2025.
