Lorry tension curtain and flexible thermoplastics experts, Structure-flex, have launched a new website as they mark five and a half decades in business.
The leading manufacturer of lorry tension curtains have updated their website to improve customer experience and give visitors a better understanding of the products they provide.
“Our products, processes and technology have evolved greatly over the last 55 years – and we want our online presence to convey that. That’s why we’re excited to launch our brand-new website, which reflects the modern and innovative manufacturer we’ve been for the last five and a half decades” says Paul Reeve, Managing Director.
Structure-flex were established just one year after the lorry tension curtain was introduced in 1969.
Now operating the UK’s largest high-frequency welding factory, Structure-flex have invested in the latest welding technology and wide-format digital printers to produce a range of thermoplastic products, including bulk storage bags and water-filled bags for testing crane structures.
Over the decades, they have introduced new innovations such as the buckle-less Smoothside curtain, the Original Big Bag and other bespoke solutions for special projects around the globe.
Structure-flex have chosen to update their website to better reflect these innovative products and highlight their 55 years’ experience in flexible thermoplastic manufacturing.
“With a clearer navigation and more in-depth product pages with specifications, applications and visuals, our new website makes it easier than ever for our customers to explore our products, request quotes or bespoke orders and see how our solutions are being used across industries worldwide” adds Paul.
As well as supplying lorry tension curtains for brands including Thatcher’s Cider, Dulux and B&M, Structure-flex’s products have played crucial roles in other industries around the world too.
A major crane, winch and davit manufacturer required a bespoke proof test bag to test a winch on board a vessel in Asia. Structure-flex developed a non-standard cylindrical ‘moon pool’ test bag to fit their requirements, and the innovation was so successful that it’s now part of their standard product offering.
In 2019, a British Antarctic Survey team used Structure-flex’s open-top tanks to store 90˚C water in Antarctica, which was used to bore the deepest hole ever achieved in western Antarctica to retrieve ice samples for analysis.
Global charity, Oxfam, continually use their pillow tanks to help transport and store clean water in developing communities, including those requiring humanitarian aid.
“As we celebrate 55 years of innovative thermoplastic manufacturing, this new website is another step forward in helping manufacturers, researchers, charities and more find the solutions they need. It ensures we can continue supporting vital projects around the world for many years to come” concludes Paul.
The new website was designed and built by Full Mix Marketing, who help deliver strategic, digital and creative marketing for Structure-flex.
